Chapter 3 Exercise

The writer quotes Solomon David, “an aquatic ecologist at Louisiana’s Nicholls State University, suspects the mutation is a condition called erythrism, which causes an animal’s skin pigmentation to be reddish, or in some cases, pink”. (This is the actual quote form the article). Then right after she explain other information about well known mutations, like Albinos (White). I believe that she did put it in her own text. The first thing is because she explained what he said and then made it understandable for other readers that don’t know the topic so well. This article explains how their is pink rare manta. I think she did a good job summarizing this text and explain the article in detail.
